Flamboyant Flame Tree, Delonix Regia, Royal Ponciana, - a tree that is naturally a tree and reaches 10 m in height, in our climate it is grown as a room plant and grows up to 2 m.
It looks most decorative in the flowering period from spring, when red fiery flowers with yellow-orange stamens, giving the impression that the whole plant is on fire. After fading, short, yellow pods appear. In summer, the plant can decorate balconies and terraces.
Before sowing the seeds, the seed cover should be rubbed with wall paper or gently incised. Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours.
