A perennial plant from the clove family. Rough top branched shoots with silvery-green leaves, ending with semicircular inflorescences of carmine-pink, fragrant flowers. A good perennial for cutting, each mounded plant putting up 15-20 slender stems of hot pink lychnis-like flowers in dense clusters. Forms a low leafy clump the first year, followed by a brilliant show in year two.

The flowering of Silene orientalis takes place in July-September. Application for perennial beds, rock gardens and cut flowers. Plant height 60-70 cm. It is frost resistant. It tolerates the periodic water shortage well.

Cultivation and care: Requires moderately fertile, well-drained, slightly moist soil. Full sun or partial shade position. Faded inflorescences should be cut to cause re-flowering.

The package contains 0.5 g (about 500 seeds)
